76Every Garmin the watch app runs on
The CycleBridge watch app runs on every round-screen Garmin at Connect IQ 3.4 or newer. This list is read from the app’s own manifest when the site is built — it cannot say a watch the app does not — and each line below has a page saying what is particular to it.
01One layout, every screen size
Every coordinate in the watch app is drawn for the Forerunner 955’s 260-pixel round screen and scaled at draw time from the real screen width. The usable area of a round screen is the inscribed circle, so the layout works in chords — the width available at any height is worked out from the radius — rather than fixed margins, and the big digits pick their font by measuring what fits. That is what lets one design land on a 42 mm Forerunner and a 51 mm fēnix without a per-device layout for either.
The same is why some watches are missing: the layout needs a round colour screen with enough shades to draw a hairline. Everything left out is listed at the bottom, with the reason.

03Left out, and why
- Venu Sq 2 and Venu X1
- Rectangular screens. The layout is authored for a circle and works in chords of it, so a rectangle would waste its corners and clip its edges.
- Instinct, Instinct 2, Instinct 3 Solar, Instinct Crossover (non-AMOLED)
- Monochrome transflective screens with a sub-window: not a round colour screen, which is what the layout assumes.
- Forerunner 55
- A 16-colour screen. The dark grey every divider, page dot and idle label is drawn in renders as black on it, so the layout would lose its lines.
- Anything below Connect IQ 3.4
- The app shows a toast when a ride is saved or discarded, and that call arrived at API level 3.4. Older watches cannot install it.
04Getting it onto the watch
The watch app is on the Connect IQ store: install it from there, in the Connect IQ app on your phone or on the watch itself. Once the watch app is on the watch, the phone side is the Garmin and iPhone or the Garmin and Android setup.
